Hello, my name is Maurilio! My story starts in Amsterdam in the year 2001. I lived there until I was five years old and I would love to talk about it, but alas, I forgot. Upon arrival in the land of opportunity that is America, my small but growing family moved all across the east coast—initially finding refuge in Ashburn, Virginia, we soon moved to South Carolina. Then Connecticut. Then back to Virginia. Then back to South Carolina. And finally, I found my way to this lovely community, Davidson. Along the way, I’ve acquired two wonderful siblings, a boy and a girl named Isa and Danilo. I swim, I love being outside (this is my happy place), I value humor, I’m comfortable being uncomfortable, I love to laugh, I have a pet fish in my dorm, I’m super outgoing, I love meeting new people, and I wish I hadmorewords!
